The apartment is located on a vast plot of land of approximately 13000 square meters, surrounded by the beauty of nature. In the hilly part, to the west of the house, one can admire the marvelous Mediterranean scrub, with tall wild olive trees, junipers, mastic trees, and fhillyrea plants. Among the characteristics of the island of Sant'Antioco, numerous dwarf palms can be found, some of which reach considerable sizes. The land is dominated by a majestic centuries-old olive tree, intertwined with a blooming red bougainvillea at the top. Additionally, there is a mixed orchard with figs, pears, pomegranates, plum trees, almond trees, and olive trees for oil. The outdoor space is furnished for relaxation and for convivial and cultural gatherings. The Mediterranean scrub forest within the plot has a natural trail that allows the curious to discover ancient stones that "speak" (...for those who know how to listen!), special plants, and a panoramic view from the highest area. At night, the outside offers an unmissable spectacle: the contemplation of the starry sky, which can also be admired through a telescope available for the occasion. Inside and around the Gaulos Country estate, thanks to the richness of bird species, it is possible to engage in Bird Watching, even for those with little experience. Outside the estate, it is possible to embark on walking or cycling excursions towards the important Nuragic village of Grutti 'Acqua, named after the presence of wells and an artificial lake (about 3 km away), or towards the nearby coastal path of Serra is tres portus, which connects Coeqquaddus Beach to Maladroxia Beach (1 km away). Furthermore, there are numerous possibilities for horseback riding or quad biking, thanks to the nearby equestrian centers of Carolina ranch (for quad biking and horseback riding) and Matta (for horseback riding), or kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding excursions. It is also possible to participate in organized fishing trips (such as Alessandro I and the Due Fratelli), which, in addition to a boat trip, offer the experience of fishing and a lunch on board. The island also has wind and kite surfing schools to experience the thrill of the wind!
